Jessy Mendiola recently shared official photos from her recent dream wedding with Luis Manzano.
The celebrity couple tied the knot for the second time on February 15 at an exclusive resort in Coron, Palawan, as confirmed by the evening newscast "TV Patrol."
To celebrate their 3rd wedding anniversary, Jessy posted pictures of their special day on social media. In the photos on Instagram, the couple looked very much in love, with Jessy wearing a simple wedding gown and Luis in a Barong Tagalog.
Alongside the photos, the celebrity mom penned a heartfelt message for her husband.
"During our Pre-Cana with Father Tito, we said we weren't excited to get married because we are already married," she began her post.
According to Jessy, she has learned many things during their eight years together and three years of marriage.
"One of them is that love is not always easy, and that it isn't supposed to be easy all the time. You have to constantly work hard for it. And that's okay," she said.
She added, "Today, I'm choosing to work harder for your love and happiness. As Father said, do not chase excitement... desire is more important. The desire to get married over and over again with that person you chose."
She also mentioned their first baby, who is one of the "biggest blessings" God has given them.
"And I always say this, it's just you two... that's enough," she added.
In her message to Luis, she promised to love their family with all her being, to always choose him even on their hardest days, and to protect their peace and happiness.
"I love you Peanut... And I love you, my howhow. Forever and always," she concluded her caption.
In the comment section, Luis replied to her post, saying, "I love you my wowow [red heart emojis]."
Many fellow celebrities, including Carla Abellana, Angeline Quinto, Iza Calzado, and many others, congratulated the couple on their anniversary.
Luis and Jessy's Palawan wedding was a joyous occasion, with their "little bride" Baby Rosie and their parents in attendance.
It's worth noting that the couple's parents were unable to attend their first wedding in 2021, which was a civil ceremony.
